În 1968, Ludmila Eţco a absolvit cu menţiune Facultatea de Medicină Generală şi a plecat, conform ordinului de repartizare, la Spitalul Raional Nisporeni. Dacă am obţinut ceva în profesie, e pentru că am avut îndrumători foarte buni: Tamara Avramovna Avxentiev, Tatiana Vasilievna Prodan, conferenţiar la catedra Obstetrică şi Ginecologie, şi, desigur, învăţătorul meu, dl academician Eugen Gladun. Din 1970, cînd am început a activa la Maternitatea de pe bulevardul Tineretului (azi bd. Renaşterii) mă străduiam să fiu cît mai mult timp alături de domnii Eugen Gladun, Mihail Moldovanu, Marcel Gherman, dnele Emilia Sorocean, Zinaida Prisacari, Elena Ţurcan, Georgeta Bodiul şi alţi fruntaşi ai obstetricii, făcînd astfel o şcoală extraordinară. Cei mai în vîrstă nu se fereau de cei tineri, din contra, căutau să le transmită cît mai multe din experienţa lor, ca să aibă cine le continua cauza. Între anii 1977 şi 1986, Ludmila Eţco e medic-şef adjunct cu problemele curative la Maternitatea nr. 1 din or. Chişinău. Aflîndu-se la muncă practică, tot mai mult o ademenea ştiinţa. Zice: ”Fiindcă cei ce se ocupă cu ştiinţa cunosc mai mult, văd mai departe. În această privinţă m-a pus la cale soţul meu, Constantin Eţco. El mi-i stîlpul de nădejde în viaţă. Cunoştinţele multe cu răbdare se adună şi cu perseverenţă. Şi reuşeşte cel ce foarte mult voieşte. Ludmila Eţco a reuşit: în 1984, la Institutul de Obstetrică şi Ginecologie al Academiei de Ştiinţe Medicale din Sankt-Petersburg, susţine teza de doctor în medicină, elaborată sub conducerea ilustrului profesor Eugen Gladun. În anul 1986, fiind invitată de dl Gheorghe Russu, dumneaei devine medic-şef adjunct al Centrului de Ocrotire a Sănătăţii Mamei şi Copilului pentru expertiza medicală şi deţine acest post pînă în 1988. Vine, însă, şi ziua cea mare, despre care se vorbea în diverse instanţe şi care era aşteptată de multă lume bună: ziua fondării ICŞDOSMşiC. Directorul Institutului, profesorul Eugen Gladun, îşi invită eleva să ocupe funcţia de şefă a departamentului ştiinţific Obstetrică. “Am acceptat, fiindcă aici se îmbina lucrul curativ cu ştiinţa. Trebuie să spun că obstetrica mi-a fost oricînd mai aproape decît ginecologia, şi anume naşterile. Emoţiile pozitive pe care le trăieşti la apariţia unui copil sînt foarte puternice şi nu se compară cu nimic în lume, mărturiseşte. Nu există alt sentiment de asemenea intensitate. Anii 1988-2003, cit am deţinut acest post, cred că au fost cei mai frumoşi din viaţa mea.” Vom adăuga că în acest răstimp dumneaei făcea faţă şi atribuţiilor de asistent şi de profesor la catedra Obstetrică şi Ginecologie a USMF „Nicolae Testemiţanu”, în 1994 devine cercetător ştiinţific superior la ICŞDOSMşiC, în 1995 susţine teza de doctor habilitat în medicină, deja aici, acasă, la Consiliul Specializat DH 14.93.37 de pe lingă ICŞDOSMşiC. Tema tezei: „Metode nemedicamentoase de profilaxie şi tratament ale afecţiunilor septicopurulente la naşterea prin cezariană”. Despre această perioadă, într-o caracteristică oficială se spune: „Dna L. Eţco, ca şefă a secţiei ştiinţifice Obstetrică, studiază particularităţile etiopatogenetice şi evoluţia infecţiei în perioada perinatală, ceea ce serveşte ca bază pentru elaborarea măsurilor noi, cost-efective, de profilaxie şi tratament a infecţiei perinatale şi evaluarea factorilor ecologici nocivi asupra calităţii sănătăţii mamei şi copilului”.La 16 aprilie 2003, conform ordinului Ministerului Sănătăţii al RM, dna Ludmila Eţco deveni director al IMSP ICŞDOSMşiC. Autorii deciziei au luat în calcul că dumneaei cunoştea Instituţia din interior, fiindcă activase aici ani în şir, inclusiv opt ani ca secretar de partid, înregistrase realizări notorii pe făgaşul ştiinţific. În 2004, i s-a conferit gradul de profesor cercetător. Deţine categoriile superioare de calificare ca medic obstetrician-ginecolog şi ca medic specialist în management sanitar. “Am venit cu intenţia de a păstra şi dezvolta ceea ce crease pînă atunci dl academician Eugen Gladun, să mergem mai departe. Ne-au fost de mare ajutor reforma privind asigurările obligatorii în medicină, apoi reforma ce ţine de realizarea obiectivelor Codului cu privire la ştiinţă şi inovare al RM. Ca rezultat, finanţarea instituţiei practic s-a majorat de vreo patru-cinci ori. Şi devine şi mai clar, că numai unind ştiinţa cu practica vom putea activa şi mai fructuos. Mă frămînta gîndul cum să obţinem în instituţia noastră o conlucrare mai rodnică între ştiinţă, colaboratorii universităţii şi ai clinicii. „Dna Ludmila Eţco este preşedinte al Consiliului Ştiinţific Specializat pentru susţinerea tezelor de doctor şi doctor habilitat în ştiinţe medicale la specialitatea „Obstetrică şi Ginecologie”, membru al Comisiei de experţi în probleme de obstetrică şi ginecologie a MS, copreşedinte al Consiliului de conducere a Asociaţiei Obstetrică şi Ginecologie din RM, membru al colegiilor de redacţie ale revistelor „Buletin de Perinatologie”, „Curier Medical” şi „Sănătate publică, economie şi management în medicină”, preşedintele Consiliului Ştiinţific al ICŞDOSMşiC; desfăşoară concomitent activitatea pedagogică la Universitatea de Stat de Medicină şi Farmacie „Nicolae Testmiţanu” ca profesor la catedra Obstetrică şi Ginecologie, e membru al Consiliului naţional pentru coordonarea şi monitorizarea realizării Programului naţional de promovare a modului sănătos de viaţă pentru anii 2005-2015, membru al Secţiei Ştiinţe Medicale a AŞM. Este deţinătoare a distincţiilor, Eminent al Ocrotirii Sănătăţii, „Inventator remarcabil”, a Diplomei de Merit şi Premiului AŞM pe anul 2004 pentru ciclul de lucrări ştiinţifice „Tehnologii moderme şi patologia infecţioasă în asistenţa perina- talâ”, citim în documentul oficial. Activitatea ştiinţifică a dnei Ludmila Eţco se axează pe 3 direcţii prioritare:
- Reorganizarea asistenţei medicale perinatale în baza metodelor occidentale înalt efective, cu respectarea regionalizării şi etapizării asistenţei perinatale;
- Elaborarea şi perfecţionarea continuă a măsurilor noi, cost-efec- tive, de profilaxie şi tratament a infecţiei în perioada perinatală;
- Evaluarea influenţei factorilor nocivi ai mediului ambiant asupra calităţii sănătăţii mamei şi copilului.
Dumneaei a participat activ la realizarea Programului de ameliorare a asistenţei medicale perinatale în anii 1997-2000, a condus grupul de lucru pentru elaborarea compartimentului antenatal al Ghidului A „Principii de organizare şi acordare a asistenţei perinatale” şi B „Serviciul perinatal regionalizat: niveluri şi conţinut”. Domniei sale îi revine meritul elaborării şi scrierii mai multor capitole ale acestor ghiduri. Dna Ludmila Eţco este autor a 238 lucrări ştiinţifice, inclusiv a unui compendiu, 5 monografii, 6 ghiduri naţionale, 13 elaborări metodice, 125 articole de bază publicate în ţară şi în străinătate. Sub conducerea doctorului habilitat în ştiinţe medicale Ludmila Eţco au fost susţinute 6 teze de doctor şi se realizează încă 2 teze de doctor în ştiinţe medicale. Toţi competitorii au fost şi sînt medici – practicieni. Este deţinătoarea a 27 brevete de invenţie, a distincţiei „Inventator Remarcabil” a 3 medalii de aur, 1 de argint şi 5 de bronz ale expoziţiilor internaţionale specializate, iar în 2000 a fost decorată cu Medalia de Aur „Inventator Remarcabil” a Organizaţiei Mondiale de Protecţie Intelectuală. Invenţiile dnei Ludmila Eţco sînt focalizate asupra creării tehnologiilor contemporane medicale adjuvante de profilaxie şi tratament ale afecţiunilor septico-purulente în obstetrică şi ginecologie şi posibilităţilor moderne de tratament. Sînt evidenţiate trei direcţii principale:
* diagnosticul şi tratamentul infecţiei intrauterine;
* tratamentul insuficienţei feto-placentare;
* profilaxia şi tratamentul afecţiunilor septico-purulente la lăuze după naşterea per vias naturales şi prin operaţie cezariană.
Pentru activitatea ştiinţifică vastă şi ca rezultate valoroase obţinute ca cercetător şi inventator, dnei Ludmila Eţco,în 2004, i s-a decernat Premiul Naţional în domeniul ştiinţei şi tehnicii al Consiliului Suprem pentru Ştiinţă şi Dezvoltare Tehnologică al Republicii Moldova”.

In 1968, Ludmila Eţco graduated with honors from the Faculty of General Medicine and went, according to the assignment order, to the Nisporeni District Hospital. If I achieved anything in my profession, it is because I had very good mentors: Tamara Avramovna Avxentiev, Tatiana Vasilievna Prodan, associate professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and, of course, my teacher, academician Eugen Gladun. Since 1970, when I started working at the Maternity Hospital on Tineretului Boulevard (today Renaşterii Boulevard), I have been trying to spend as much time as possible with Eugen Gladun, Mihail Moldovanu, Marcel Gherman, Emilia Sorocean, Zinaida Prisacari, Elena Ţurcan, Georgeta Bodiul and other leaders of obstetrics, thus creating an extraordinary school. The older ones did not shy away from the younger ones, on the contrary, they tried to pass on as much of their experience as possible to them, so that they would have someone to continue their cause. Between 1977 and 1986, Ludmila Eţco was deputy chief physician for curative issues at Maternity Hospital No. 1 in Chişinău. Being in practical work, she was increasingly attracted to science. She says: „Because those who deal with science know more, see further. In this regard, my husband, Constantin Eţco, set me up. He is my pillar of hope in life. A lot of knowledge is gathered with patience and perseverance. And he who really wants it succeeds. Ludmila Eţco succeeded: in 1984, at the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Academy of Medical Sciences in St. Petersburg, she defended her thesis for a doctorate in medicine, developed under the guidance of the illustrious professor Eugen Gladun. In 1986, being invited by Mr. Gheorghe Russu, she became deputy chief physician of the Center for the Protection of Mother and Child Health for medical expertise and held this position until 1988. However, the big day came, which was talked about in various instances and which was awaited by many good people: the day of the foundation ICŞDOSMşiC. The Director of the Institute, Professor Eugen Gladun, invites his student to take up the position of Head of the Obstetrics Scientific Department. “I accepted,because here the curative work was combined with science. I must say that obstetrics was always closer to me than gynecology, namely births. The positive emotions you experience when a child appears are very strong and cannot be compared to anything in the world, she confesses. There is no other feeling of such intensity. The years 1988-2003, when I held this position, I think were the most beautiful in my life.” We will add that during this time she also performed the duties of assistant and professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the “Nicolae Testemiţanu” State Medical University, in 1994 she became a senior scientific researcher at the ICŞDOSMşiC, in 1995 she defended her thesis as a doctor habilitated in medicine, already here, at home, at the Specialized Council DH 14.93.37 at the ICŞDOSMşiC. Thesis topic: „Non-drug methods of prophylaxis and treatment of septicopurulent diseases during cesarean section”. About this period, in an official characteristic it is said: „Ms. L. Eţco, as head of the scientific department of Obstetrics, studies the etiopathogenetic peculiarities and the evolution of infection in the perinatal period, which serves as a basis for the development of new, cost-effective measures for prophylaxis and treatment of perinatal infection and the assessment of harmful ecological factors on the quality of health of the mother and child”. On April 16, 2003, according to the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova, Ms. Ludmila Eţco became director of the IMSP ICŞDOSMţiC. The authors of the decision took into account that she knew the Institution from the inside, because she had worked here for years, including eight years as party secretary, and had recorded notable achievements in the scientific field. In 2004, he was awarded the title of research professor. He holds the higher qualification categories as an obstetrician-gynecologist and as a specialist in health management. „We came with the intention of preserving and developing what academician Eugen Gladun had created so far, to move forward. The reform regarding compulsory medical insurance, then the reform related to the achievement of the objectives of the Code on Science and Innovation of the Republic of Moldova, were of great help to us. As a result, the financing of the institution practically increased by about four to five times. And it becomes even clearer that only by uniting science with practice will we be able to work even more fruitfully. I was worried about how to achieve a more fruitful collaboration between science, university and clinic collaborators in our institution. „Ms. Ludmila Eţco is the president of the Specialized Scientific Council for defending doctoral and habilitation theses in medical sciences in the specialty „Obstetrics and Gynecology”, a member of the Expert Commission on Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Ministry of Health, co-president of the Board of Directors of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Association of the Republic of Moldova, a member of the editorial boards of the journals „Perinatology Bulletin”, „Medical Courier” and „Public Health, Economics and Management in Medicine”,President of the Scientific Council of ICŞDOSMşiC; simultaneously carries out pedagogical activity at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Nicolae Testmiţanu” as a professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a member of the National Council for the coordination and monitoring of the implementation of the National Program for the promotion of a healthy lifestyle for the years 2005-2015, member of the Medical Sciences Section of the ASM. She is the holder of the distinctions, Eminent of Health Care, „Remarkable Inventor”, the Diploma of Merit and the ASM Award for 2004 for the cycle of scientific papers „Modern technologies and infectious pathology in perinatal care”, we read in the official document. The scientific activity of Ms. Ludmila Eţco focuses on 3 priority directions:
- Reorganizing perinatal healthcare based on highly effective Western methods, respecting the regionalization and staging of perinatal healthcare;
- Continuous development and improvement of new, cost-effective measures for the prevention and treatment of infection in the perinatal period;
- Evaluation of the influence of harmful environmental factors on the quality of mother and child health.
She actively participated in the implementation of the Program for the Improvement of Perinatal Medical Care in 1997-2000, led the working group for the development of the antenatal section of Guide A „Principles of Organizing and Providing Perinatal Care” and B „Regionalized Perinatal Service: Levels and Content”. She is credited with developing and writing several chapters of these guides. Ms. Ludmila Eţco is the author of 238 scientific papers, including a compendium, 5 monographs, 6 national guides, 13 methodological elaborations, 125 basic articles published in the country and abroad. Under the leadership of the habilitated doctor of medical sciences Ludmila Eţco, 6 doctoral theses were defended and 2 more doctoral theses in medical sciences are being developed. All competitors were and are practicing physicians. She is the holder of 27 patents, the distinction of „Outstanding Inventor” of 3 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals of specialized international exhibitions, and in 2000 she was awarded the Gold Medal „Outstanding Inventor” of the World Intellectual Property Protection Organization. The inventions of Ms. Ludmila Eţco are focused on the creation of contemporary adjuvant medical technologies for the prophylaxis and treatment of septic-purulent diseases in obstetrics and gynecology and modern treatment possibilities. Three main directions are highlighted:
* diagnosis and treatment of intrauterine infection;
* treatment of feto-placental insufficiency;
* prophylaxis and treatment of septic-purulent diseases in newborns after birth via natural birth and by cesarean section.
For her extensive scientific activity and valuable results obtained as a researcher and inventor , Ms. Ludmila Eţco , in 2004 , was awarded the National Prize in the field of science and technology of the Supreme Council for Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Moldova

В 1968 году Людмила Ецко с отличием окончила медицинский факультет и, согласно приказу о назначении, отправилась в Ниспоренскую районную больницу. Если я чего-то и добилась в своей профессии, то только благодаря очень хорошим наставникам: Тамаре Аврамовне Авксентьевой, Татьяне Васильевне Продан, доценту кафедры акушерства и гинекологии, и, конечно же, моему учителю, академику Евгению Гладуну. С 1970 года, когда я начала работать в родильном доме на бульваре Тинеретулуй (сегодня бульвар Ренаштерий), я старалась как можно больше времени проводить с Евгением Гладуном, Михаилом Молдовану, Марселем Германом, Эмилией Сорочан, Зинаидой Присакари, Еленой Цуркан, Георгетой Бодиул и другими лидерами акушерства, создав таким образом выдающуюся школу. Старшее поколение не сторонилось младшего, наоборот, они старались передать ему как можно больше своего опыта, чтобы у него был кто-то, кто продолжил бы его дело. Людмила Ецко добилась успеха: в 1984 году в Институте акушерства и гинекологии Академии медицинских наук в Санкт-Петербурге она защитила докторскую диссертацию по медицине под руководством выдающегося профессора Евгена Гладуна. В 1986 году, по приглашению Георге Руссу, она стала заместителем главного врача Центра охраны здоровья матери и ребенка по медицинской экспертизе и занимала эту должность до 1988 года. Однако настал тот важный день, о котором говорили во многих случаях и которого ждали многие добрые люди: день основания ИКШДСМШИЦ. Директор Института, профессор Евген Гладун, приглашает свою ученицу «Я согласился занять должность заведующего научным отделом акушерства». Потому что здесь лечебная работа сочеталась с наукой. Должна сказать, что акушерство всегда было мне ближе, чем гинекология, а именно роды. Положительные эмоции, которые испытываешь, когда появляется ребенок, очень сильны и ни с чем в мире не сравнятся, признается она. Нет другого чувства такой интенсивности. Годы с 1988 по 2003, когда я занимала эту должность, я думаю, были самыми прекрасными в моей жизни». Добавим, что в этот период она также исполняла обязанности ассистента и профессора на кафедре акушерства и гинекологии Государственного медицинского университета имени Николая Тестемицану, в 1994 году стала старшим научным сотрудником в ICŞDOSMşiC, в 1995 году защитила докторскую диссертацию по медицине, уже здесь, у себя на родине, на Специализированном совете DH 14.93.37 в ICŞDOSMşiC. Меня беспокоило, как добиться более плодотворного сотрудничества между научными, университетскими и клиническими сотрудниками в нашем учреждении. «Г-жа Людмила Ецко является председателем Специализированного научного совета по защите докторских и хабилитационных диссертаций в области медицинских наук по специальности «Акушерство и гинекология», членом Экспертной комиссии по акушерству и гинекологии Министерства здравоохранения, сопредседателем Совета директоров Ассоциации акушеров и гинекологов Республики Молдова, членом редакционных советов журналов «Вестник перинатологии», «Медицинский курьер» и «Общественное здравоохранение, экономика и управление в медицине».Председатель Научного совета ICŞDOSMşiC; одновременно осуществляет педагогическую деятельность в Государственном университете медицины и фармации имени Николае Тестмицану в качестве профессора кафедры акушерства и гинекологии, является членом Национального совета по координации и мониторингу реализации Национальной программы по пропаганде здорового образа жизни на 2005-2015 годы, членом секции медицинских наук Американского общества медицины. Она является обладательницей наград «Выдающийся деятель здравоохранения», «Замечательный изобретатель», диплома «За заслуги» и премии Американского общества медицины за 2004 год за цикл научных работ «Современные технологии и инфекционная патология в перинатальной помощи», говорится в официальном документе. Научная деятельность г-жи Людмилы Ецко сосредоточена на 3 приоритетных направлениях:
- Реорганизация перинатальной помощи на основе высокоэффективных западных методов с учетом регионализации и поэтапного подхода к перинатальному уходу;
- Непрерывная разработка и совершенствование новых, экономически эффективных мер профилактики и лечения инфекций в перинатальном периоде;
- Оценка влияния вредных факторов окружающей среды на качество здоровья матери и ребенка.
Она активно участвовала в реализации Программы улучшения перинатальной медицинской помощи в 1997-2000 годах, возглавляла рабочую группу по разработке раздела о дородовом уходе в Руководстве А «Принципы организации и оказания перинатальной помощи» и Б «Регионализованная перинатальная служба: уровни и содержание». Ей приписывают разработку и написание нескольких глав этих руководств. Г-жа Людмила Ецко является автором 238 научных работ, включая сборник, 5 монографий, 6 национальных руководств, 13 методических разработок, 125 фундаментальных статей, опубликованных в стране и за рубежом. Под руководством доктора медицинских наук Людмилы Ецко было защищено 6 докторских диссертаций, и еще 2 докторские диссертации находятся в стадии разработки. Все участники конкурса были и являются практикующими врачами. Она является обладательницей 27 патентов, звания «Выдающийся изобретатель», 3 золотых, 1 серебряной и 5 бронзовых медалей специализированных международных выставок, а в 2000 году была награждена Золотой медалью «Выдающийся изобретатель» Всемирной организации интеллектуальной собственности. Изобретения г-жи Людмилы Ецко сосредоточены на создании современных вспомогательных медицинских технологий для профилактики и лечения септических гнойных заболеваний в акушерстве и гинекологии, а также на современных возможностях лечения. Выделены три основных направления:
* Диагностика и лечение внутриутробной инфекции;
* лечение фетоплацентарной недостаточности;
* Профилактика и лечение септических гнойных заболеваний у новорожденных после естественных родов и кесарева сечения.
За свою обширную научную деятельность и ценные результаты, полученные в качестве исследователя и изобретателя , г – жа Людмила Ецко в 2004 году была удостоена Национальной премии в области науки и техники Высшего совета по научно – техническому развитию Республики Молдова .
